That is true. It is entirely possible he could rebound from this recent spell of wreaks, but lets hope not.

But now Denny Hamlin has as much wins as he does this season, and all with an injured knee.

Yep. He won the same day he went in for surgery for a torn ACL, and he won two more races recovering from the surgery.

Haven't posted here in awhile...

Tony Stewart got his first win of the season last week at Atlanta!

And this week at Richmond, Denny Hamlin DOMINATES the field and scores his SIXTH win of the season!

And now, the score is being reset to 5,000 for the top-12 drivers during the Chase for the Cup, which starts next week, and each driver gets 10 extra points going by how much wins they have. These are the official Chase standings:

1. Denny Hamlin - 6 wins
2. Jimmie Johnson - 5 wins
3. Kevin Harvick - 3 wins
4. Kyle Busch - 3 wins
5. Kurt Busch - 2 wins
6. Tony Stewart - 1 win
7. Greg Biffle - 1 win
8. Jeff Gordon - 0 wins
9. Carl Edwards - 0 wins
10. Jeff Burton - 0 wins
11. Matt Kenseth - 0 wins
12. Clint Bowyer - 0 wins

Glad Denny is doing so well, so is Jimmy it looks like... Tony isn't too far down in the standings.

It's all gonna change this weekend. The points margins in the chase are so tight, that if even the 12th place spot wins, he'll get pretty darned close to the leader.

Well, you'll never guess... But Clint Bowyer, the last-place seed, won the race by leading the last 2 laps, and jumped to 2nd! It's unfortunate how it happened though. Tony Stewart had a solid 1.5-second lead on him on the second-to-last lap, and RAN OUT OF FUEL! Mad

But Denny Hamlin came in second, and is still leading the chase, so I'm happy. Smile

Simply amazing. Trevor Bayne is epic. His second EVER Sprint Cup start, and he ends up winning the Great American Race. I was just outside the track while this happened, and I could see it happening on the leaderboard. I can't wait to see what his future will hold, I am definitely a fan of his! (He's also a devout Christian!) Very Happy
