Violations To Rules Empty Violations To Rules

We are a very strict site, and we enforce our rules to a high degree. We are understanding about new members and how they must adapt, but repeated violators will be punished. Below is the list of how we punish and deal with violators of the rules.

Violations regarding posts:

First two Violations: Colored text pointing out what was wrong and how to correct it will be edited into the post containing the violation by a site moderator or administrator.

Third Violation: A private message will be sent by a staff member to the violator, warning him to cease violations.

Fourth Violation: A temporary ban will be placed on the member who is performing the violation. The ban will last anywhere from three days to a week.

Fifth Violation: A fifth violation will result in deletion of the member's account.

Sixth Violation by previous violator with a new account: A violator with five violations will be allowed to return with a new account (subject to the judgement of the staff), but if the violator has one more violation of the Constitution, the IP address of the violator will be banned and the address of the violator will be blocked from accessing the website.

Violations of rules not concerning posts:

First Violation: A first violation will responded to by a staff member sending a warning private message to the violator.

Second Violation: Another, more serious warning will be sent to the violating member via private message.

Third Violation: The violator will have a temporary ban placed upon them.

Fourth Violation: The member will be deleted.

Fifth Violation by previous violator with a new account: A violator with five violations will be allowed to return with a new account (subject to the judgment of the staff), but if the violator has one more violation of the Constitution, the IP address of the violator will be banned and the address of the violator will be blocked from accessing the website.

The staff of the C.A.A. forum reserve the right to ban or delete any member's account at any time. This may take the place of a standard violation punishment, subject to the opinions of the staff. The staff also reserves the right to substitute any violation discipline with a discipline that they believe seems fit to the violation.

What a typical ban list would look like for a repeat violator:

Warning on 1st Violation
Warning on 2nd Violation
1 day BAN on 3rd Violation
Warning on 4th Violation
3 days BAN on 5th Violation
Warning on 6th Violation
5 days BAN on 7th Violation
7 days BAN on 8th Violation
14 days BAN on 9th Violation
30 days BAN on 10th Violation
Blocked on 11th Violation

Bans and Blocks are subject to staff discretion and may be not follow the above scenario(s).
