Shooting rampage at Fort Hood

Thu Nov 05, 2009 10:39 pm by astoriabluelegos

BREAKING NEWS: Today at 13:30 at Fort Hood Texas, a soldier and some cohorts opened fire on base. At least 12 people were killed, and 30 injured. Thankfully, CT/BC-0006 who is in the Army, and based at Fort Hood, was not involved in the shooting. He is fine, and was not near the incident when it happened. Needless to say, our prayers should go out to those involved tonight. And of course, we should Thank God that CT/BC-0006 was not harmed or involved, even though he was present on base at the time.

New Symbol

Tue Nov 03, 2009 10:03 pm by astoriabluelegos

Well our symbol was updated for the final (hopefully) time. It now is oriented more towards the C.A.A. and now holds a lot more symbolism and meaning.

The New Symbol

Changes: The Christian Service Army symbol in the middle now has 7 spokes, to represent the Black-7 of Central Command, and has the Black-7 symbols on it. The C.A.A. Council Seal has been added below this. And below that, our credo has been added on a plaque. A grey border was also added to make the symbol look more complete, and to help it stand out better on black backgrounds, such as C.A.A. vehicles, and uniform shirts.

Old Symbol

The old symbol had all main C.A.A. units at that time on it, and the Christian Service Army symbol was less unique to the C.A.A. Plus no border made it appear disorganized against black or dark backgrounds. Plus symbols were placed at random on the symbol, with no specific placement, or meaning.
