Answer your question Egg? But Powned is right, we need to stay on topic, so I'll reinvigorate this by throwing this out there: Do you think women have true equality today? Like in the workplace, and in general society?

Honestly, I think at times women are a tad spoiled now in the workplace..
Some women take advantage of the attractiveness factor, if their boss is a man. I know this because I have a neighbor who does this.. & she basically uses sex in order to get a job.
Maybe she does that in order to get the job OR she's a sex adict.
Whichever way...
Honestly, I'm not quite sure.
There's still a tad bit of sexism, but thats with both sexes, not just females.
Like, why can girls do wrestling in our highschool, but guys cant play volleyball or tennis?

Would YOU want to see a guy in a pair of those volley-ball shorts? Wink Razz But yeah that's true, attractiveness is a very big part in areas such as that.

GRODY.... D:
Anyway.. What do you guys think about girls getting extra points in PE & stuff just because they're girls? Like the PE teach would say, "Give the ball to a girl & she scores, her team will get two points instead of one."

I'm not sure. I mean on the one hand, I'm a strong believer that if she puts her mind to it, girls can do pretty much the same as guys. BUT they are fundamentally not as physically strong, so idk. Tough question.

Yeah.. Cause I can throw better than half the guys in my PE class (granted there is only like 7 guys & like 16 girls in that PE class..).. But.. Some games dont have to do with strength.. I dont really know the answer either.
I mean sometimes its nice cause then I can do really well with only doing half the work the guy is doing (at the same time, I end up feeling lazy cause of that same thing).

I think if it's something where there are no physical limitations, then girls should be given the same opportunites. Just like I believe that women should be allowed the opportunity to serve as combat soldiers if they so choose. Heck if a woman wants to go out there and get herself blown up, why stop her? They are just as capable in that respect as a man, even more so, do to incresed flexibility, and in general, a smaller body area and tougher therefore to hit. I could also see some drawbacks to this however, but I'll wait and see what others have to say.

I totally agree with the women going into combat thing.

If they choose to want to do that, they should be able to do so.

Would I do it personally? No... Because I wanna do some other things with my life.

I guess the drawback with combat is that girls are definitely MUCH slower than men. & thats been proven & I'm not going to deny that. We are also not as strong. But thats just how we were made.

I agree with both of you they should be given the same chance but I have heard that it's easier for a woman in basic training than it is for a man and to me that is just not how it should be. It should be equal, if the woman can past the same test a man passes I'm fine but if she passes because it was made easier for?!? that's just dumb.

@Kombustion: TOTALLY agree with everything you just said. @Chopped: Yeah in that situation I think the trainings should be more similer, becuase a lot of it both can do equally, no problem.

Both males and females are capable of doing the same things except a few things. We all have the same opportunities.
