Creepy and I am not sure what to say for John 3:16 states the point of Jesus.

I'm not sure what you are trying to mean by that?

That was an amazing reminder on what we are doing every time we don't share the gospel to people we pass on the street. We're basically killing them for eternity....

My youth leader showed that awhile ago when I still went to youth group. It's pretty intense! Shocked

@Joseph: Well in a way yes. But we also need to be careful in how we share. Because personally I am a bit repulsed by those people who just shout scripture on the street, and I'm already saved. Laughing I think it requires presenting ourselves and making ourselves available, rather then just screaming it out. Wink

@astoriabluelegos

I totally agree. In fact, I saw a great video on how to spread the gospel, and quoting scripture on the streets is what you don't do. You need to lay a foundation because if you don't, they won't listen to anything you say.

That was epic, especially the postscript - "Wish you were here"

Well I am saying that John 3:16 sums up the whole idea of saving someone with God's help.

@ Cpt Cringle:

Yes, it sure does, but it's assuming that people know what that verse is talking about. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." How do you explain sin, God sending Himself to the earth, which is kind of hard to comprehend, and having eternal life? You need more than that one verse to tell someone about God's saving grace.

Ah, correct, it's all about context really. It's an epic verse though, and prolly one of the most important ones too. Wink
