Why would I think that you wouldn't want to drive
one?
Everyone would like to, and I doubt even a
priest or the pope would say no.

My dream car is an Abrams tank. Not to fast but it can do lots of offroading. You also would never have to deal with traffic.

I don't think the police would give a rat's rear end about speed if they saw a tank going down the road. Wink

ABL's dream car is the granny mobile. Jk. He wants to get a willy's wagon. Does this vehicle go faster than 45mph?

Naw, not enough power, or speed. It depends though, if the V6 is a buick, then it'd be okay, but I'd prefer a V8. Wink

Talking about the engine size, that really must get terrible milage. Powned those engines would not go well with the environmentalists.

Surprisingly, no. The top gear ppl had a fuel milage race one time, and so they all had to pick cars to win the race with. Basically, they started about 970 miles away from the finish line at a gas station. They filled up, and sealedthe tanks. (welding)

Then the took off. The first one there won, but they only had that tank of gas. All three of the guys used desile (please spell check me) engines because of the better fuel milage. However, one had a 3 cylinder VW, one had a fiat I think, and Jeremy clarckson had a jaguer with a huge V12 engine that had a top speed of about 180ish. The VW got about 80 miles to the gallon, as did the fiat, but the jag was rated at about 50 MPG. Yes, 50 even in a car that would do 180. us Americans really don't know what we are missing.

Anyways, the jag came second, but that was because Jeremy had the windows rolled down, the stereo turned all the way up and all the seat warmers on at one point, because he thought the race
was really stupid, (until he realized he might win) and he was trying to run out of gas right by his house.

The jag can go over 1000 miles on a single tank of gas.

Well if they are diesel then they arn't as bad, but the tanks have got to be large.

21 gallon tank. Rated at 40... Times 21 equals about 840, but it went over a thousand.... Meaning that it got
more like 50 miles to the gallon.

50!?!?! I'm highly skeptical. Sports cars never get that good, it's like against nature or something. Razz

That mileage does not sound like the amount of miles on one gallon because I don't know of any sports car that gets real good mileage.

And that is why us Americans are so ignorant. The EPA also believes we think that cars with that kind of millage is unreal.

Well, it's not. I was looking at lamborghinis and the US verison got 7 miles to the gallon, while the regular version got about 12 milesto the gallon.
